The Web’s New “F” Word.

Las Vegas - Fugget.com is the free blog community for humor bloggers,  writers,  comedy news and information.

The free platform allows Humorist, both Pro and Amateur,  to build a social profile,  publish their own blog , administer groups, and interact via the integrated forums and message boards.

The community site is integrated with the latest promotional tools and widgets including integration for various social networking platforms like Facebook, Flickr and Twitter as well as a support forum for members to hekp with issues as Monetization, Promotion, SEO, Basic HTML and Customization, and ‘How To’s” to help users realize the full potential of their blogs and the community.

“There are many free blog platforms on the web”, say’s Fugget.com’s Owner and Webmaster Harold Mansfield,”…with some really great blogs on them. Unfortunately, they are also littered with mundane soliloquy’s about ‘Baby’s First Poop‘ , and (on some) tons of webmaster spam.  There are a lot of big general community type sites that are everything to everybody.  I actually wanted to build a niche community just for humor bloggers and about comedy as a whole all in one place.”

Fugget.com is run on the industry standard Wordpress CMS which will be immediately familiar with many University Students and company bloggers. Members blogs will not only be visible and even featured on Fugget’s home page, but are assigned a unique URL on the sites main domain, so that bloggers can promote their sites everywhere and be found via major search engines.

Members are welcome to monetize their blogs with reputable non-adult ad and affiliate companies as they see fit, however, the staff has vowed to vigorously police spam blogs (splogs) and even have a spam link visible in the users profile menu, as well as, invite users to report spammers and undesirable behavior via email or on the support forum.

The main page of the blog will feature members blogs from throughout the network, guest bloggers and articles,  and comedy news and information.

At this time, blog creation is free, however by invitation only to Humor bloggers and the Comedic Entertainment Industry. Interested parties need only to contact Harold at Admin@Fugget.com.

Contrary to it’s first impression, Fugget.com does not allow users to publish blogs that are pornographic in nature, or promote hate and prejudice, or anti -American rhetoric unless it clearly falls in the line of comedic satire or parody.

When asked about the name, Mansfield commented:

When I was a kid, I saw ( and heard) and old Redd Fox Album (Fugg-it!!!) The Best of Red Foxx and the album cover made me laugh and still continues to do so till this very day.  I always wanted to do something with a similar name online that would make it past the censors, just as Foxx did and this seemed to be the natural application since nothing like it existed.  I also figured that if I got any flack from it,  I could claim it was French and pronounced “Fu-je” or German…“Das Fuge it !”.
