You are free to create a blog, utilize the forums, and start groups.
Whenever possible, blog owners retain ownership of their original content and ownership of any content that they produce on their registered blog. You are free to export the content of your blog to use as you see fit anywhere you wish, or import owned content from other sources and blogging platforms to use on your Fugget.com blog.

Violations:

We will make no attempt to recover content from any blog that was disabled, erased, or banned for violating set rules pertaining to spam, pornography, hate, racism, anti-American rhetoric, warez and blatant copyright violations.

The Basics:

Unfortunately certain rules must be set within the community to ensure the most basic of common courtesies because (as we know)  some people don’t know how to act.

You May Not:

1. *Cheat
2. *Steal
3. *Defame
4. *Plagiarizer
5. *Infringe on anyone’s copy-write, or trademarks.
6. *Publish a blog that promote hate, racism, terrorism, or anti-American rhetoric, (when I see it, it will be terminated on the spot).

Content and Language:

Since this is an open platform where you can publish your own blog freely for all the world to see, certain precautions and guidelines must be met to ensure that everyone follows the rules of the wild wild web.

You cannot:

1. *Use images that you don’t have a right to use. In other words, don’t copy and paste a photo from The Washington Post unless you have permission to do so. (Tip: Politicians and Celebrities have certain stock/publicity images that are O.K. to use…make sure you use the right ones)
2. *Portray yourself as someone that you are not, or start a group as such. In other words, don’t try to use “Truman Capote” as your username unless you are in fact Truman Capote. Official accounts will be labeled as such and impostor accounts will not be tolerated  Fan sites, ‘I love’, tributes and homage’s are of course O.K. with us and we welcome them..

Blog Rules:

Whoo Hoo! I thank each and every one of you for registering and publishing a blog. My hope is that this will be come a diverse community that is truly interesting and entertaining. However, there are a few things I need to make clear regrading what you are allowed to do with that blog. After all if you screw up, it’s going to affect all of us.

You May:

• *Monetize your blog how ever you see fit with any number of legitimate affiliate or advertising and affiliate programs and you may add banners, and ads to your sidebars, inside your posts, or into any designated ad spots that what ever theme you chose has to offer . Knock yourself out, I hope everyone makes a bunch of money.
• *I have over 100 blog themes and designs available. Personalize your blogs however you see fit as long as you have permission or own any images or photos that you use to spruce the place up. You may contact me to request special features and functions for the community.
• *Use any options, widgets , or settings that are installed how ever you see fit.
• *Blog or start a group for what ever you want…I don’t care. Do your thing.

You May Not:

• *Set up an Auto-blog.  If you don’t know what it is. Good. If you do and try and find a way to do it anyway, you will just be wasting your time,. Your account will be terminated and erased on the spot and you will be banned.
• Use Fugget.com as an article dump for SEO or spamming purposes. Same thing..waste of time,…erased…banned.
• *Promote hate, racism, terrorism, or anti American rhetoric unless it clearly falls within comedic license, parody, or satire.
• *Publish blogs that are nothing but one product promotion after another. This is not the platform for that. If you want to start a review blog, or pay per post let me direct you to Wordpress.org , or Blogger where you can get the software to start your own blog.
• *Spam the other members of the community with garbage. That is the quickest way to loose your account and get banned for life.
• *Promote or link to pharmaceuticals, pornography, warez, illegal music or movie downloads. We don’t play that here. No Exceptions.
• *Attempt to edit, change or hack into any source code on this website, or your blog’s theme. Even if you find a way to do it, when we catch you, you will be banned and I may file charges against you, your parents and everyone who has ever touched your computer.

NO SPAM !

Spam blogs or Splogs will not be tolerated and will be deleted without warning.

I  don’t need to elaborate on this, spammers know what they are and know what they are doing.  This is not a webmaster article dump so don’t even try it. You will not get it past me or anyone else and you will be banned and reported.

This includes any and everything not related to Humor , Comedy or the Comedic Entertainment Industry in some way or form.

There will be no “Make Money Online, Mesothelioma, Acai Berry,  Weight Loss, Mortgage, Forex, or any other garbage blogs on this network.  I have an itchy trigger finger and if they even get past the software, they won’t make it 5 minutes past me…so try it somewhere else.

I am sure that I will have to come up with more rules as soon as some idiot thinks he’s cleaver and tries to exploit a loophole or something that I left out. After all if it weren’t for idiots, we wouldn’t need rules, right ? In that case their account will be terminated without notice..you smart asses know who you are.

The safety and enjoyment of the community as a whole will always take precedence over a single individual who feels the need to disrupt it.

Failure to follow these simple rules will not only result in your account being immediately terminated, content and all, but my grandmother will conjure up a nasty curse or two that will follow your family for generations.

We reserve the right to change the rules whenever we see fit, without notice.

We are hypocrites. We don’t have to follow the rules, we only have to enforce them.
